3 SHEZ RYLEYMAK $1.50 top class mare resuming and panels better than these at her best, just a shade concerned that mightn't be at her top first up and if led would cop pressure from the 4 so whilst I am confident in thinking she will win I doubt I will be on
4 BUBBAS A FAKE $6 tough mare who was driven over aggressively last time, at her best would be a clear 2nd pick
5 SECRET RENDEZVOUS ($7,000) $13 has found a new lease on life at past few starts and if runs up to recent form will be in the mix
6 ALBERT JONES ($7,000) $26 honest type who will be running on but hasn't got enough speed to mix it with the top couple in betting
7 PRINCE OF TARA NZ ($5,000) $34 good win during the week but this is infinitely harder than a stand start claimer

2 PRINCESS GANGSTER $101 being well beaten in easier races, no
3 MODERN SOCIETY $5 worked home well at first Tasmanian start and whilst this is much harder she draws better and would not surprise to see her go very close
4 REALLY IMATIGERESS $11 gutsy win on Wednesday night, this is harder but must include in the exotics
5 TASPACEDOTCOM $101 simply not in same class as most of these
6 THIRTYSIXTOES $21 honest mare who is limited so may struggle a tad from out here but won't be for lack of trying so include in exotics
7 ALMA GRANT $2.8 is flying this mare and been stiff not to win past couple of starts, draw is shocking but is still the one to beat

10 FLYIN INDI AIR $4.5 very good run last time and whilst the draw does her no favours again will be right in the finish with even luck
11 KOIZORA $51 needs to draw well to be a chance in her races as her gatespeed is her biggest attribute, has limited ability and from this draw prefer others

2 MOUNTAIN MOMMA $51 this looks too tough
3 CULLENS COUNT NZ $8 honest trier who rarely wins but runs tons of placings (has finished in the top 4 placings at 16 of past 19 starts but hasn't won), looks the main danger to fav and an excellent EW prospect
4 LITTLE ELF $26 form has really tapered off since promising a bit at first few Tassie starts. Would probably need to lead to be a chance and can't see that occurring so place best
5 THE BULLIONAIRE $51 sit/sprint pacer who will struggle from here
6 BRO TOWN NZ $21 better run last week and has ability at best but place only from here
7 ARK WEST $21 resumed with a solid win when led and got away with murder in front, different kettle of fish from this draw but is going as well as most of them

9 LEFT LOADED $2.0 yet another of the good Tassie 3YO crop from last season who resumes here and has been going like a jet at the trials winning by big margins. Looks better than them and trial form suggests is ready to win first up
10 PRETTYBOYTROY $13 good run at Tasmanian debut when got nosed out on the line and looks a good place prospect again
11 JANSZOON scr gone okay in all Tassie runs to date, probably can't win from this draw but could certainly place without surprising
12 THE DETONATOR $26 very disappointing as an odds on favourite last time and from this gate would need a massive improvement

Race 5 (pole wins on best form and very even outside of her)
1 STEP UP AND PLAY $2.5 good class mare resuming, loves to lead in her races and provided she is near her best will take plenty of running down. Slightly concerned with the distance first up if cops pressure but has a touch of class
2 FLYING DUBAI scr ultra impressive win last start when worked early then raced away late, big difference here is that he probably won't lead and its a tougher race but will still be very competitive
3 CRASH CART $21 consistent type who never wins out of turn but will run an honest race
4 NEW YORK FELLA $21 resuming from a short break and will need to be right at the top of his game to be in the finish, prefer place only
5 LUGOVOI LEIS $6 interesting runner who resumes, will probably be giving his main rivals a start so whilst he is right up to them on ability the race tempo will determine his chances
6 DENVERS BOY $9 another honest type who is never far away, this a bit tougher than past few and would probably need to lead to win and doubt he can but always tries so a must for all exotics
7 TWOGRANDAHAND $51 draw realls kills his chances

9 REMEMBERPREECE $6 just battled last week but draws to get a beautiful trail here so can't be left out even if he isn't quite at the top of his game
10 MAROSSI $9 emphatic win when resuming from exactly the same draw and likely to get a decent run through again. This is a harder race but still not without a hope
11 MISTER GALLENTI $13 another horse going way better than form shows but will need plenty to go right from this draw, must include as a place prospect though
12 GEORGE GRANT $26 resumes and whilst form was very good last time in looks a risk from here in this class
13 BAYFIELD HIGH $51 going okay but simply looks too tough for him from this draw

4 DIEBERDON $6 looks the only danger to the fav, loves the mile trip and won well first up defeating a subsequent winner then was a "so-so" run last time. Its worth noting that he did beat Udoit and Lugovoi Leis to win the $20,000 Tasmanian Guineas last year which shows what he is capable of
5 DOMANI GEM NZ $34 disappointed first up when had good run in transit but didn't finish his race off, has good speed at his best but place only on first up run
6 GEDLEE $1.20 boom 3YO from last season resuming and trial form suggests he should account for this lot first up as has run home in 56.8 and 57.2 in easily winning 2 recent trials. Being aimed at some good races later on so should be winning this
7 AAPENNON $51 going very well in easier races but minor place hope at best from this gate

9 BIDE YOUR TIME $26 good win last time and whilst the draw does no favours again is a must for exotics
10 HYDEHURST BOY $34 very good run when resuming and blew the start then ran on late for 2nd, races best in front but a definite place hope even from this gate

3 WINJAMMER $67 good run when resuming but this is tougher, one for the exotics though
4 MAJESTIC EMPEROR $51 racing below his best and needs it easier but still a rough place hope
5 ANGUS MCGREGOR $201 not going well enough
6 GETTYSBURG ADDRESS $51 good win last time out but this tougher and draw does him no favours
7 SKY TOWER $51 good tough horse but his lack of speed will hurt him from this gate. Is as honest as they come though

9 TI VOGLIOBENE $1.6 figure form is average but has been racing against some of the best horses in the country. Also looks thrown into the race as an M7 so looks the winner with even luck
10 OUR SIR JECKYL $3.8 tremendous win when resuming, worked midrace and still finished off in 56.5. Is making a good case to be considered Tasmania's best pacer currently and looks the main (and only danger) to the fav
11 COSMIC UNDER FIRE $13 looked disappointing on face value last time but the sectionals almost made his task impossible. Always tries his heart out so is a must include for exotics
12 DODGERMEMATE $101 getting beaten in much easier races and being out of the draw against this lot means he will struggle

Race 8 (7 clearly the best, 8 also miles better than the rest with 4 best trial form)
1 RIKKISU $17 actually going a shade better than form suggests but still a minor place hope at best against this lot
2 TRUMP LADY $34 first starter who hasn't done anything flash at the trials, prefer to see
3 CROMBIE BAY $21 another first starter who has been fair at the trials, might run into a place
4 REALLY WESTERN $13 probably has the best trial form of the first starters but runs into a couple of smart ones here, watch betting
6 DENVERADO $34 pretty plain at the trials, prefer to watch also
7 CODIE KARALTA $1.40 is clearly the best horse in the race but generally isn't the type of horse to rush into short odds with as can get it wrong but impossible to tip against. Worth noting also that got nosed out when resuming and the horses who ran 1st and 3rd came out and cleared out in a race on Wednesday night

8 JUST DANCE BABY $4.5 still a maiden but has run very well at every start to date, should trail through okay as the only horse on 2nd row and wasn't too far behind the fav last time so a clear 2nd pick
