Pretty average meeting this which seems to happen this time of year Australia wide. It seems really silly to me as lots of people are missing a great opportunity to win races. Take the horses who desperately tried to win their 2yo maiden prior to the end of the season, most of them failed and then went straight for a spell to coincide with their 2yo season finishing. What most overlook is that there are some of the weakest 3yo races going at the moment and there for the taking yet you can bet your bottom dollar that some of those 2yo horses who were trying to win their maiden this year will be trying at the end of the season to win their 3yo maiden when a lot could get it out of the way now just by being kept in work another month or so. As I also said, this definitely isn't isolated to Tasmania either
